Our Future Leaders
School Council
Wood End Academy's School Council is formed from a representative from each class from Year 3 to Year 6. The representatives nominate themselves and are then voted in by their class members. The members meet once a month to discuss any issues that have been raised by their class or help make decisions about our school.
Some of the decisions the School Council has helped the school make are:
- Deciding on what charities we support
- Helping improve school dinners
- Ideas for the school calendar
Prefects
Wood End Academy Prefects are elected by children and staff.
House Captains
Wood End Academy House Captains are elected by children and staff.
Class Champions
Wood End Academy Class Champions are elected by the children in each class.
Digital Leaders
Wood End Academy Digital Leaders are appointed by staff. Children apply for the position.
Playground Leaders
Wood End Academy Playground Leaders are appointed by staff. Children apply for the position.
